    ROFLMAO! My daughter and about 6 of her girlfriends are spending a "girl's" weekend at a hotel near Lancaster, PA. Amish country. My wife just read on Facebook that they were reprimanded for dropping F-bombs in the bar last night. Imagine that. 7 Jersey girls saying "fuck". We haven't gotten the full story but it's supposed to have something to do with the Amish. Why any Amish would be in a bar to hear something offensive in the first place - I don't know.

    Don't get me wrong. The point of my comment wasn't to ridicule the Amish. When the kids were much younger and we used to go camping, we often went to the same area. Some Amish would come to the camp ground to sell pies, etc. and everyone that we came in contact with was very nice. Their life style isn't for me anymore then mine is for them but I don't look down on them as some cult. I'm still waiting to hear what happened from my daughter. I'm no stranger to profanity but I don't often use it in public so if I was sitting in a bar and all I heard from a group near by was "fuck this" and "fuck that" I might have complained too. I just think it's funny that my daughter was in the group.

    Go ahead - they're not on the Internet, they'll never know. big grin

    The most I've been around Amish is taking the train from Chicago to St. Louis and they are often on it, which goes to Texas. Dressed in 19th Century country garb and speaking German. They look like nice ppl and remind me of our cultural rebellions to get back to the earth - did a farm commune for a very little while.
