Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Have we talked about this one? I'd swear we have but can't find it anywhere...one of the quintessential 80s movies that everybody knows about and most have probably seen. What're your thoughts on it?

I like it, my brother likes it, he watches it especially every time he's sick; we like it, we like them being able to pull off all that crap and everything that happens to principal Rooney, and I've got the novelization which has a lot more stuff in it than just what's in the movie.

But a lot of people don't like Ferris, they think he's I don't know, an entitled brat or something, that it's all about him and what he wants...my opinion is these people must hate Queen too because a lot of their lyrics are the same way.

Also, WOW, the guy who played Cameron was freaking THIRTY years old at the time they did that movie, who'd a thunk it?

I thought this movie was really cute. He was a smartass. Maybe I just relate & I think it's a lot less "dated" than War Games. It still works even today.

One of the best movies of the 80's!

I always liked this movie. Does anyone remember the short lived TV series from 1990 with Jennifer Aniston that debuted at the same time as Parker Lewis on FOX? The 2 shows were very similar, except Parker Lewis was more of a hit, Bueller was cancelled after a season.
