Hi all,
This is one of my favorite movies in my DVD collection, though I haven't seen it in a while. Great performances by all the leading actors, including Ernest Borgnine who did a bang-up job in the supporting role of Fatso. Well, I have to take that back; not all the leading actors did a good job. I wasn't too big on Donna Reed's performance. I think she won an Oscar for it, though I'm not exactly sure why. But all the other leading actors - Frank Sinatra as the "tough monkey", Montgomery Clift as the non-conformist individual trying to survive in the baracks, Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr - did a fantastic job.
Has anyone else seen this?
