    Hi all,

This is a great psychological thriller! It's about a woman, Ellen, who is so possessively and obsessively in love with a man that she keeps anyone and anything from interfering in their marriage, sometimes to the point of murder. She's a sociopath through and through. Gene Tierney plays the leading role and is fantastic in it. It really showed fans and critics that she was more than a pretty face and really had talent. Cornel Wilde plays her husband and I wasn't too impressed by him. In supporting roles are Jeanne Crain and Vincent Price. All in all, a very good, overlooked film.

    Has anyone else seen this?

Yes I have and I agree that she was one cold psycho. Shakespeare or not, it's kind of a strange title considering where she probably ended up. I liked Tieney better in things like Heaven Can Wait and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

I'll have to check out those two films, particularly the latter sounds interesting to me. She was good in "The Razor's Edge" too, but the film itself was too damn long for me.
