Much as I adore the old "Rainbow's End" theme from the 80s, I'm not really appreciating the 'musical' version of it all. Instead of letting the cast members hack away at it for a special occasional, I wish they'd get someone to come in and seriously record it and make it the main theme again.

The show is trying to throw a bone to nostalgia, but the problem is that the cast versions of that old Peabo theme are a) REALLY cheesy and b) since the opening sequence isn't custom made to it, it's like the visuals wind up getting sped up. I really don't like when they dub different music over the current opening sequence. It just doesn't match. I felt the same way about Snoop Dogg's theme. Just get a brand new opening already!
