One of the best films I've seen, so far in 2011. Impressive psychological noir thriller (Hitchcockian style)
Even the most acute sleuth fan solver may need to return for a 2nd viewing. A complicated story that unfolds into one twist after another. At the conclusion you may wish there was more of it.
Sonia (a terrific Ksenia Rappoport) a chambermaid working at a Turin, Italy hotel spends her free time at a speed-dating function. One evening she meets Guido (Filippo Timi) an x-cop who now works as a security guard. They hit it off immediately and a passionate love affair develops. They spend a weekend at an exclusive estate which he guards. Unknowingly the estate is robbed. The identity of the robbers is not clear. Guido is shot dead (or is he). Sonia recovers, but in a dream like existence.
At this point of the film (about 30 minutes), the story really begins to unfold, but leaves the audience guessing. 1 hour and 35 minutes of continuous twist and turns, which may or may not, lead to the revelation.
And part of the clues may come from the title of the film, which refers to time; when the hour and minute are the same (for example: 12:12), you can make a wish.
