Destiny's Child was just a front. Beyonce was always going to be solo. Didn't really care for DC that much either but I guess I'd take them over solo Beyonce.

Agreed. Which is why I think I prefer Beyonce by herself, because it's a little more "real" than the group ever was. Those seat-warmers were just her backup singers. It was always about showcasing her, which is why it'd be somewhat funny when they'd occasionally let one the others sing a line or two. As if to say: "see, we're truly a group....no stars here." Sure.
