First impression: Bleh.

Tis' harrowingly hokey. Don't like it at all.

That was banal. Completely forgettable. With every new song she comes out with, it becomes more painfully evident than the last time that she needs Jam and Lewis back.

Awww...come on you guys, it wasn't THAT bad! Although I will admit that maybe it needs another mixing. Sort of sounds demoish, but it's got potential.

Far as NEEDING Jam and Lewis goes. The last three albums she did with them, people were screaming for her to move on to other producers. Then when she does all of the sudden it's "bring Jam & Lewis back". If she does, I bet people will complain still.

Sorry SkwirtB. I agree with the others. That was a big time "fail." The production is cheesy/generic and her voice sounds really dry/choppy.

A little too syrupy and bland. I can't imagine this playing on the radio.

Meh.

But then I haven't been impressed by a Janet Jackson song in at least a decade. I think her time as a "pop star" has expired. If she were smart, she'd pull a Vanessa Williams - making ACTING more of a career priority.

I like it. Very slowly I think Janet is getting back to her core self and what works for her. She's not "there" yet but she's making inroads to it.
