What Janet songs can you honestly say you *dislike?*

I agree. "Just a Little While" is nothing to listen to a second time; what's worse is that she put it out as a single and did a video to it.

I hate Thinkin' About My Ex, Better Days and most of the mid-tempo sludge on Damita Jo, though.

I think most of that Damita Jo album is horrid. I grew tired of Janet's horniness. I don't mind sexual related songs, but it seems like that was all she could churn out and she just resorted to them because she had nothing else. I remember thinking how much moaning and groaning is she going to continue to do before she realized she's too old to be acting like a nymphomaniac.

i love i want you, i love her vocals and ad libs, all nite has some of the tightest choreography she's had (at least tell me you like the choreography) also the bassline is tight.

the sexual content of damita jo, i dont think was a result of "that was all she could churn out and she just resorted to them because she had nothing else" it was because (as she stated many times) she was in the best relationship (sexual and other wise) in this period of her life. so she gonna write about it.. she already wrote about break up with rene, and superbowl aint happened.. she's enjoying this new relationship with this new man

also i still love listening to keith sweat and r kelly, how old was marvin gaye when he recorded sexual healing, he was only few years younger than janet when he recorded this...

I didn't say she should stop enjoying sex. I said she didn't have to act like a nymphomaniac. Look at the All For You album. It had "Would You Mind" on there (which I love), but that's not ALL it was about. Janet's been freaky for years....but her albums always gave you something else. Damita Jo was boring and completely monotonous. If those songs were actually good, I wouldn't care.......but they really weren't.

I also didn't like most of Damita Jo. It would have been a much stronger album if they hadn't re-done the album after Nipplegate. Put Your Hands On and Love Me definitely should have been on the record.

The problem with Damita Jo, IMO, is that it sounds like an album of All for You outtakes.
