| Is there actually a "NEW" Madonna?
Seems like every sexy, dance-y blond who can rack up a sizable gay fan base (Britney, Gaga) gets called "the new Madonna", but I don't see it at ALL. Britney hasn't evolved at ALL. She's still too much like she was when she started and Gaga hasn't been around near long enough to get hailed as the New Madonna. | |

Gaga may be the closet thing we've seen to it, but like you said: she hasn't only 1.5 albums under her belt. If after 3 albums, she's still around and thriving then perhaps. Britney is totally out of the question. Madonna is savvy and forward thinking/moving, something that Britney just isn't. If she were the new Madonna she should have had a Like a Prayer by now, but she hasn't. Brit is just a flakey blond singer. | |
