I once lived with a girl from Minnesota who heard me say how I like banana pudding, so she made me banana flavored pudding.
I had to explain it was vanilla pudding and vanilla wafers with sliced bananas in it.

Yeah, my wife only buys them if she needs them for a recipe. I don't feel deprived though.

I don't think I've ever had them, though I've heard people using them in recipes. I think they were used at the base of a muffin cup, but I cna't remember what recipes it was - not one I did but one a friend tried.
