| I was talking to a friend who goes to a hair salon regularly. She told me nothing bothers her more than kids being there.
My question is are there certain places kids don't belong. Or can you bring your kid where ever you want?

| A long, long time ago I worked at Bally Total Fitness and a woman complained that there was an unattended little girl roaming around the woman's locker room. Turns out her mother was in the locker room too, just not attending to her. You see little boys in men's locker rooms at the gym, and while men probably complain less about it, I too don't care for it. I don't like little kids, under the age of say, seven, in locker rooms. Because they roam around, make noise and get in the way.

| Bars for sure. Dad always drug me to the bars with him, and I hated it.
The thing that bugs me is when people bring kids to events that are predetermined to be adult only, like a dinner party or girls' night out. I am not a fan of when my son isn't invited places I am, but I have enough sense to respect the host's wishes and go without him or not at all.

| I don't like small children anywhere unattended to, or unrestrained, by the adult they came with…hair salons, changing rooms, department stores, restaurants, etc.
If your child is hyperactive and likes to explore, take them to an area just for kids.

| I don't think toddlers and babies should be brought to events where a courteous audience is expected, such as a dance recital, a play, or small concert of sorts. Last year at a dance recital I took my daughter to, there was at one point, a baby in the audience that decided it was time to screech at the top of its lungs, and the idiot parents let it go on and disrupt the dancers on stage instead of removing the child to the lobby. One fed up audience member actually shouted "Take the baby out!!!" right in the middle of the dance number and the parents finally got it, but they were morons for having had to be told.
This year, they actually made an announcement at the start of this past weekend's recital, that if there were any crying babies in the audience, it was expected that they'd be taken to the lobby so as not to disrupt the show.

Same with movie theaters. You wonder if such morons actually think they are at home in their den with a hundred other ppl around them.
So DENSE!! I think parenting has become a little too free and easy and everyone sing Kumbayah, instead of teaching kids good old fashioned morals and standards. I'm not opposed to exploring different horizons, but I have to laugh when I see articles like this one: http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thelookout/20110524/ts_yblog_thelookout/parents-keep-childs-gender-under-wrapsRetards. Get a grip on reality. This about says it all: LOL

| Kids that don't know how to shut up in public, movie theaters, restaurants, stores in general, the library especially...I actually find it odd, I and two of my neighbor kids were told by one of the librarians that people were complaining about us being too loud when we were always whispering, but all the time there are the screaming whining crying kids but NOBODY is telling their mothers keep your kid quiet or get out. | |

| Zumba class.
Just came home from Zumba and there were two kids (different mothers) in there just roaming. That is what the Y daycare is for. If it happens again, I am going to complain. It's bd enough to bring little ones to class, but letting them roam is just stupid.

| Honestly, I don't care for smaller children (under, say, the age of eight) in upscale restaurants. If your child tends to be loud and hyperactive, don't bring him where formal attire is a must. | |

| I think it all depends on the kid. IMO, if the kid is quiet, he can go just about anywhere his parent does unless the parent is going somewhere like a bar or a brothel. (Then leave the kid home) However, if the kid's noist/bratty, he should likely be left home, unless absolutely necessary, and even then, think hard before taking 'im out. | |

| Weird as it may sound, I don't particularly care for kids at shopping malls without a parent or some sort of guardian. | |
