What's the most audacious (or reckless) thing you've done? Skydive? Run with the bulls in Pamplona? Have unprotected sex with a total stranger? Only wait 55 minutes before going back in the water after eating?

A little over two years ago I met a man and four days after our meeting I moved in with him. Oy vey, lol. It was the most reckless thing I ever did, and probably the stupidest. We were an impossible match, always screaming at each other. To this day, I don't know what was going on in my head!

How 'bout you, Al? What was the most reckless thing you've done? I'm guessing you could be an especially risky one.

The great sex?

Me? I'm afraid I'm likely to disappoint. I've dropped some acid. Hitchhiked. Riden an ATV I had no business being on (thank goodness for Bell helmets!) Whitewater rafting. Been up in a hot air balloon. Not exactly death defying but it was all on the same day.












































about it all being on the same day. It was a long weekend.

Worse! I run with the SUV's thru the streets of Miami on a bicycle!

I had unprotected sex with lots of total strangers before there were fatal STD's so that doesn't count as reckless, tho some of those strangers were a bit weird.

However, I had an affair with a married woman whose husband was in the mob. Lucky he didn't know or care. (In your 20s you don't think of those dangers)

I took acid from strangers who got it from unknown origins.

Hitch hiked from San Francisco to New Orleans - survived, but got picked up by a woman who drove me thru Palm Springs to piss off here BF, and had oral sex with a guy in his car on a back road in the desert (the kind of place you see on CSI).

Had sex with a Marielito who was in a Havana jail for killing a cop. He explained it was legit - the cop was messing with him. (No, I did not sleep with him in my bed)

I haven't done much - I tend to play it safe.

If driving 140+ mph on the highway is reckless, then that would be the one. I have a few more, but y'all don't need to know that.

Reckless, not much really...other than despite doctor's order not to, I still ride motocross despite having a lot of pins and screws in my neck. I just can not imagine a time I couldn't hop on my bike, so not really reckless...just how it is. I will ride more cautious with each passing year, but will never, ever quit.
