...or out. How many locks to you have on the doors to your abode? Besides the latch lock (doorknob) do you have any deadbolts? Chains? Do you lock all of them when you're home or at least before you go to bed?

Two on the front door, and one on the side door.

The doorknob lock and one deadbolt. I only use the deadbolt and keep a key on the inside of it, just in case I have to make a quick exit.

When I come home and find the doorknob locked I know the landlord & bug sprayer has been in and I shoulda made my bed and flushed the toilet.

On the front door we have one dead bolt, and also one chain but it doesn't count because some piece of it has been missing since I was born, and on the back door there's only the latch in the knob.

We have a doorknob lock and a deadbolt and we always, always, always lock up at night to hault the crazies and undesirables.

I have a deadbolt and I always lock the door. That's the first thing I do when I step into my house. So I never worry about checking it before I go to bed.

2 locks on the front and back door

A top lock and a deadbolt on the front and back doors. Just one standard deadbolt on the side door.

One lock on each door.

I lock it always at night. But never during the day.

I'm in an apartment and it came with three locks - deadbolt, chain and regular door handle lock. People also have to buzz to get in.

I only use the one lock - the door handle lock - when I'm going out but I use all three at night.

This thread reminds me that I need to have some new locks installed. My front door is adequately secure, but my side door lock has always had issues, and tends to act funny.
