Hi all,
This is the first Western I ever saw and probably one of my favorite films. It's a pretty simple story about a Sheriff (Gary Cooper) who, just married, finds out that four men he sent to hang have been pardoned and have come back to kill him. His new bride (Grace Kelly) is a Quaker and doesn't believe in violence and thinks he should come with her, to run away, but he says "Nobody's ever made me run before". To me, it's a powerful story about one man standing alone despite his town's dissaproval at his staying, thinking he should run. Cooper won an Oscar for his role, and rightfully so.
Has anyone else seen this?
