Subject: HORROR HOTEL aka CITY OF THE DEAD Mon May 30, 2011 8:57 am
Has anyone seen this old movie about witches? I saw it about 10 years ago and besides the age of the movie, it was really a very good movie about witchcraft. Christopher Lee stars in it. For its time it was really done well. There is a scene where a girl is walking in the streets of Whitewood and the fog is curling around and the people just stop and stare at her. Its really an eerie feeling. The beginning of the movie starts out in what looks like Salem Mass. in 1692 the burning of a witch at the stake. It then moves on to modern day. Supernova I think you would enjoy this one, the entire movie is on youtube.

Sounds too scary for me. Not a fan of horror movies.

It's funny you mention that because a few months back I was looking this one up and trying to decide if it would be worth a watch.
It is definetly worth the watch. The whole movie is like an hour and 16 minutes so it goes quick. There was also something in this movie about witches that I never knew and would like to discuss with someone that has or will see it.
