Red's thread about wearing white prompted me to ask this; because one of the reason's I tend to avoid wearing white is because it seems like it just stains easily, or easily attracts dirt. Do you think that this is true, or is just more obvious?

Anything light especially white shows every little stain & every last black shirt I have appears to be covered in cat hair.

Seems a lot of times I wear white, I end up getting something random on me! So, I am super careful when I am in a white shirt or pants.

I think certain colours show the stains or dirt a lot more easily. It's not so much that they attract dirt but that dirt just shows up a lot more clearly.

I wear a lot of Navy Blue clothes and I didn't want to pick up my sister's shedding light brown Chihuahua because I would have all these noticeable hairs all over my clothes. It is all relative to the color of the 'dirt.'
I did suggest we could dye the dog Navy so I could pick it up but she wouldn't go for it.
