Lots of butter, all melty. Some syrup, any kind, but not drenched. When the butter and the syrup mix, that is the greatest!

Lots of butter and syrup. My grandmother is weird, she only likes pancakes with a fried egg on them.

i prefer this on waffles..o wow, my roommate has a waffle maker, and about a month ago she hooked up some waffles with strawberries and whip cream, it was my first time having it and it was SO YUMMY!!

What I like on my pancakes I can't find any more. Pure cane syrup - Specifically Blackburn Made syrup from Texas. I used to have it when I was a kid, but that was when real food was available.
What they sell as cane syrup any more is mostly corn syrup - which does not have the rich flavor of cane syrup.
So, I settle for pure maple syrup.

Sometimes I'll mix dried blueberries or cranberries into the batter. One day soon I may add chocolate chips.
