Oh, Alan how you know me! You might be surprised that I have actually been seriously considering canceling my Y membership and going to the cheap $10 a month place.
I really love the family atmosphere of the Y, but about a month ago, somebody I know went to the Y and got a reduced rate and I know in the realm of what they make, and their Y membership is almost free ($10 a month). I pay almost $60 a month for just me and my son. I think that is totally bull because apparently they are pretty flexible on who they offer reduced rates to, and my high ass rate is what covers those people.
But they do offer a nice amount of free classes (the paid ones are high though...$6 for 90 minute spin. and about $26 for any six week sessions.)
I don't think many, if any, Y's still have accomodations for people to stay over.
