Are you a candidate? Would you ever have vision correction surgery? As much as glasses have become a pain, I can't see myself doing it. Then again, if I can't see myself, maybe I should. I can see understand if someone could be disqualified from their profession (pilot, etc.) but for vanity's sake? Nah.

Re: LASIK
Haven't kept up with it but the last I heard about this surgery is that some people were actually losing the vision they had. I know some have ended up blind. I'm gonna just keep feeling my way around for a while.

Re: LASIK
It ain't worth the risk. Besides, I often take my glasses off when walking past a mirror and it's amazing how good I look. Can't do that after Lasik.CeCe wrote:Haven't kept up with it but the last I heard about this surgery is that some people were actually losing the vision they had. I know some have ended up blind. Re: LASIK
I seriously doubt that I would do it. I need glasses to read and for the computer other than that I see distance fine.

Re: LASIK
I don't think I'll be in the market for it. I like my glasses. I'll keep 'em.

Re: LASIK
My dad had lasik surgery 10 years ago and everything turned out well for him. He had worn glasses all his life, and from time to time his vision is still slightly blurry enough to need reading glasses, but he doesn't have to keep them on all the time anymore.
