    Mine are almost always open. So, rarely are they closed when I sleep. Makes no difference to me.

    I sleep with them closed, they have to be closed at all times or the Boogeyman will come get me.

    I close my door - always have, except maybe when I was really little and my parents left it open a crack so the hall light would come in.
