| I still have a landline, but I really don't use it that much anymore and I've long since got rid of all those extra features I used to have with it. Just have the most basic (cheap) service that the phone company offers. | |

| I have one for "showy" purposes.... it just makes your home look a little more stable if there is a main "house line" but I hardly ever use it anymore. My cell is basically my life.... Everything important is in it. | |

| We have 3 in the house and 1 in the garage. The only one in the immediate family who has one is my father and he needs it for work. Personally, I hate cell phones, and I'm never getting one. | |

Same. My house phone is for the sake of job resumes and "on file" information. Like someone else said, I only use it when my cell is out. Anyone who tries to call me on it has about a 50+% chance of not reaching me, even if I'm at home. | |

| I have both and use my landline more. I have a cheap cell phone plan, so I only really use my cell when I'm out. I have very limited daytime hours on my cell, so the landline gives me more freedom. | |
