How Jessica has been acting ever since she reemerged (angry, assertive, direct) is what the writers should have done all along, instead of lapsing into the thirtieth round of Tess Takes Llanview.

Something feels off with the character. She still feels like she's whining. Now she's just bitchy instead of being funny and bitchy.

Tess DID run loose for 6 friggin months didn't she?!! It's little consolation but I am liking the returned Jessica more but I'm sure that's just me appreciating that Tess is gone.
