Of course, who LIKES going, right? But are you afraid of going, do you dread every time you have an appointment due?


I never go unless something's wrong, so I only go about once or twice a year, and for me, it's not that I'm afraid of the drill or the pain or whatever, for me the worst part is waiting and not knowing, guessing what it'll be. Once I know what's wrong it's pretty easy to say 'take out this tooth, and remember to give me the gas'. But BOY that last one was a real nightmare, more gas, more Novacaine, and still I can feel him trying to cut the tooth out. But pretty much once I know what's wrong with my teeth, my worrying is over.

I like going to the dentist, personally. Even if it's for something unpleasant as getting a tooth pulled, I can at least take solace in knowing that it's for the greater good of my looks.

I can imagine it might be dreadful for people who don't take care of their teeth. Like judgement day. But I stay on top of keeping mine polished, whitened, straightened etc., so the checkups don't really bother me.

Like femme fatale said, I take care of my teeth so for me the biannual checkups/cleanings are no big deal. Just had one not too long ago. Look, Ma...no cavities.

It tends to be boring, but I can't say that I 'dread' it.

Unless I'm getting some extensive dental work done, or a tooth pulled, there's no reason to dread it IMO. But yes it is tedious and not particularly exciting.

My dentist has personal viewing screens at every chair so I can watch TV. Look at these straight, white teeth.

I don't dread going to the doctor or the dentist.

I look forward to it. I like having healthy, white teeth, and conferring with the guy who will help keep that preference a reality.

I don't dread it, but don't like it, but not for the normal reasons. I used to be a dental assistant, so visits make me miss working that job, and I nit pic everything the assistant does.
