Re: The Dumbest Generation
We're the dumbest generation? Hmmmm, hard to say. There's so much competition. I'll withhold my real comments though. I ain't interested in a fight.

Re: The Dumbest Generation
I'm a member of it so that should make me biased, however by looking around at other people my age or around it...I do have to wonder. If brains were gunpowder, I know a lot of people who couldn't blow their nose.

Re: The Dumbest Generation
Perhaps not the "dumbest," but definitely cheesier. This generation of teens and 20-somethings come off as very Disney-ish.

Re: The Dumbest Generation
Just because this generation is the youngest, and the least experienced, may make them seem dumb, but we really can't compare. My generation was thought of as dumb too, when we were this age.
It is impossible to know really. This present young generation has so much more information at their disposal. When I was in my teens and 20's there was no Internet. There weren't even fax machines. I don't know what the basis for comparison could be.

Re: The Dumbest Generation
A lot of good points there and I too get discouraged at the lack of involvement so many kids have in things more important than some tweet or OMG moment on the Net.
Maybe they can learn as they grow - a lot of my knowledge came after HS - but the worry is they don't have any discipline to absorb the knowledge presented to them.
Oh, well - in the scheme of world history, can the dumbest gen do any worse than those preceding them (or in control now)?

Re: The Dumbest Generation
This generation is prob. more technologically advance....but they still suck. I just can't fathom them having any of the good nostalgia that we have.
