    Are there an sociopolitical issues, or 'causes,' that you feel fairly strong/passionate about, despite them not personally affecting you?

    Because of the ripple effect I'm not sure there ARE causes that don't personally affect us in at least some way. And yes that's a double negative but it's early & the coffee just got poured. When you try to help or advocate for some group or cause it's to bring about change that in the end does affect us all.
