Anyone hit up the theme parks yet? Just got back from Six Flags Great Adventure.....and I FINALLY conquered the Kingda Ka. It was quite exhilarating. El Torro is dope too. What are some of your favorite theme parks/rides?

I haven't been since '99. I would like to go again this year. The only rides I tend to shy away from at amusement parks are the water rides, because I don't care for being doused with water like that. Other than that, I can't get enough of roller coasters.

Not yet, but I'm chiming along with the chorus on Cedar Point. That's the best one I been to. Never been to Six Flags, but another good one is Islands of Adventure. I love rollercoasters too, but I always end up going in a group that has that one stick in the mud who won't ride certain one's. It's like why did you even bother to come? Take your punk ass to the State fair.

I love water rides. When my sister comes up to NY after school gets out, I'm going to take her to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. And I've never been to Cedar Point but I keep hearing great things about it. I might decide to take a trip out there this summer. When do the kids in Ohio get out of school? I don't do amusement parks on the weekends and I try to go before the kids get out of school for the summer.

I ain't gonna lie, I'm not the biggest fan of rollercoasters. I don't have a problem with the turns, corkscrews, loops, the speed...I just don't like the drops. I don't really care for that weightlessness feeling. So I have to psyche myself up to get on. I'll look at a coaster and be like 'yeah, that doesn't even look that high, let's rock it out'. Then I get on it and it starts to ascend and I say the the person who I got on it with 'this shit is high as hell. I can see the damn car from here. I wanna get off'. But then of course, it's too late hehe . The vocal chords get quite a workout. Makes for great fun.

I haven't been to six flags in a few years but when I do go, I hit up all the rollercoasters. I am going to have to go before the summer is out.

Last Rollercoaster ride I had was one night a few years ago my friend and I were passing Coney Island and we stopped, went on the coaster a few times and left.

Bizarro (aka Medusa) is off the chain. If y'all ever get out to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ, that's the rollercoaster you got to ride.

Got on that too. I actually think the Scream Machine is more thrilling. And the Scream Machine is OLD.

I'm not totally sure when they get out. I used to live in Ohio about a decade ago when I went to Ohio State. I think they get out around this time. I think it's always best to get there as early as possible, and just spend the whole day there. But, yeah, Cedar Point is literally the best amusement park I've been to. I'd definitely recommend it. The Magnum is still the best roller coaster ride they have, and it's twenty years old now.

Phoenix all the way baby! B) No need for gimmicky designs, crazy loop, back-twisting(and later requiring a trip to the chiropractor) turns, none of that overrated shyte from other parks. Just a plain straight-forward, fast-paced, and exciting good time. It, IMO, is THE quintessential roller coaster. When you think of a roller coaster, this is it.

It isn't anything I'm planning on. More likely to go down the shore to Seaside or Point Pleasant and hit the boardwalk once or twice.

I let my daughter convince me to take her, a few of her friends, and a couple of cousins to Cedar Point next month. My sisters and fiance are tagging along too.

I don't handle many amusement park rides very well--they throw off my equilibrium and I get sick to my stomach. I can do the milder ones, but the Puke Wheel and Spin-N-Barf. . . no thanks! big grin

You're gonna need a minivan! I wanted to go to Busch gardens this year but I don't know if I'm going. I'm taking my sister to Disney world next month
