Oh yes. Like an idiot I let my hairdresser talk me into the Demi Moore "Ghost" thing. Never again.

My hair was once long enough to put into a little pony tail but I didn't.

Yep.

My hair was long until I was either 18 or 19, then I went and got my first professional haircut and got it cut off, not entirely and it took a few follow up cuts to get it right...but I've pretty much got it all cut off, and I love it. I don't really know if there aer any pictures that I can use for comparsion, it's not like the 'cut above the ears' look like older women do, but it wouldn't take much to do that. And I just love it, especially in the summer, and I find it all very liberating compared to how I had to do everything when I had long hair.

Yes and yes. Those were the days.

The last time I hacked all my hair off was the summer before my freshman year of high school. Ever since then I've kept it long for the most part. Maybe every 5-7 years I will trim it but I can't see ever sporting the Ellen look.

I have never gone super short.

I was looking at a pic of some actress who just got a pixie cut and contemplated it but then quickly realized that I am just not as cute as she is to make it work. I desire currently to grow my hair longer, so I hope I am patient.

Cut it short in grade 5 - not shaved or buzzed, but it was only a couple of inches long.

I called myself trying that short Toni Braxton/Anita Baker bob when I was 22, and oooh Lord no! It only looks good the day you get it done at the shop. Very hard to maintain. I couldn't wait for it to grow out again.

I could go on and on about short hair. My mom made me get pixie cuts when I was a kid, and was constantly trying to talk me into short cuts when I was old enough to refuse to go to the salon for a scalping. And this is a mother who wanted a daughter! She wanted a daughter, but with a boy's hairdo!

Today I would look ridiculous with a short haircut. I mostly keep it layered between chin and shoulders.

My father's female relatives all believe in very short hair, and no hair color. Imagine. Never.

No and don't think I ever would. My head is too big for a short cut. Plus, short hair is more maintenance. I'll keep it long/shoulder length.

Is it really? Wouldn't have thought so.

Its been long enough to braid back but I never grew it out to ponytail level. I like cleaner, neater shorter haircuts. Too much hair is annoying to me.
