Bigger disciplinarian: mom or dad?

When you were growing up, who disciplined you more – you mother or your father?

How often did your more laxed disciplinarian parent take it upon themselves to do it?

My parents were about 50-50. The one break I remember getting from my mother was when my father was making me sit at the table to eat a grapefruit (hated it then - love it now). She was in a rush and wasn't interested in my whinning so she said, "You don't want to eat it? Don't eat it" and spits on it. No fucking way I was eating it then.

Didn't really need it too much I guess. It was kind of even I guess. Dad was scarier though. Mom is funny when she gets mad.

My mom was so strict! She never let a chance go by to punish me for my many transgressions. They would never let me do anything, so I had to do it anyway, and be sneaky or get caught, and get punished.

My dad didn't engage much around the house. That was my mom's turf. Once he smacked me in the mouth, and my mom got mad at him and it was strange to see them arguing and screaming over it.

That's hard to say because my mom punished us more when we got in trouble but my dad wouldn't let us do hardly anything, we were always in trouble with him.

LOL my father or course. My mother would get angry with us and once in awhile hit us but it was nothing like what my father did to us.

My mother was. My sister and I wouldn't test our dad as much as we did our mom, so he didn't really punish us that often. While my dad would just flash a "you know better" look, mom would start to yell and threaten.
