New Year's. It's pointless.

Holiday as in time off from work or just as in celebration?

Halloween for me for celebration and for time off? Not sure I have one I don't like. I have favs, but none that I really dislike.

I don't 'hate' any holiday. If I had to choose, I guess Valentine's Day would be the least meaningful to me. Not because you're single, but because people make a big deal to do something special for their significant other on that day when they should be doing it all year long. You don't pick one day out of the year to show someone how much you love them.

I agree with Ny. Even though I play the dutiful lover and go along with it, honestly I don't give a shit about Valentines (or Sweetest) Day. I also don't care that much about Labor Day.

Yeah, Valentine's Day.

New Years simply because everyone makes such a big deal about the ending of one year and the beginning of the next.

I don't consider it a holiday unless I get paid time off. Valentine's day? Mother's and Father's days? However, I DO like Halloween.

Now, to answer the question, my least favorite holiday is Labor Day because it marks the unofficial end of summer.

Oh, I forgot Thanksgiving. I reeeeally hate Thanksgiving and all it stands for.

Okie doke. That's what I guessed. I can't argue that there isn't validity in your opinion. I just don't happen to share it.

Most people don't. But I also don't think that people who do celebrate it are insensitive or bigots or about to chop my hands off. It's just not for me.

Then what would celebrating Halloween be given some of its origins used to include killing cats and burning horses aive?

I don't know. I don't celebrate Halloween either.

That's one of my favorite holidays: 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, sabes que it's all good.

I live about ten minutes from Salem. It's kind of spoiled my outlook on Halloween. Haha.

I totally don't like Valentine's Day for the same reason. The stuff that happens on that day should be done all year long, not just on some manufactured holiday.

i guess valentines day, but labor day seems pointless too, well wait its an excuse to bbq and drink

I can't think of any that I hate, but for the last several years Thanksgiving has been hit or miss with me.

I get so I'm not all that keen on Mothers/Fathers Day. Trying to buy them gifts is a little too reminiscent of Christmas shopping.
