Previews for the week of 04-Jul-2011

Monday is the Fourth of July holiday; therefore, it’s an April 27th rerun, featuring Erika Slezak’s special 40th anniversary show, where she splits into alter Niki.
Man With Scar (Roger Howarth, original Todd) approaches the mansion where Viki lives and nearly meets Viki herself.
Before Brody can get the words out – “Natalie, Liam is John’s biological son after all!” – fate intervenes.
Fate comes in the form of Natalie admitting that she went to John to end things to be with Brody. At that, Brody can’t lose his good thing.
John pursues with squirrelly Brody an intense line of questioning about Marty’s cassette recording that went AWOL.
Natalie broadcasts to Jessica that she and Brody have become an item, and will be a family with Liam.
Vimal is THIS CLOSE to ratting out Todd’s secret about Liam to John, but then Todd gets to Vimal—with a cushy job offer.
Vimal won’t talk any further, after looking like he wants to talk plenty about Todd’s secret with John. This is a red flag. John has a man follow Vimal everywhere, discreetly.
Another red flag is when John jumps on a lead that Vimal is now an employee of Todd’s.
John requires Brody join in on the assignment to ruin Todd’s day and gain justice.
Jack is within earshot as Todd and Vimal rehash the Marty DNA secret with John none the wiser. But he doesn’t get the full picture.
Jack punches in his time card at his dad’s tabloid, The Sun—ready to crack from the pressure.
Who is Origami Cogs? Only Todd’s worst nightmare when it comes to getting the job done. Think cutthroat corporate infiltration.
Ford and Jessica arrive at a crossroads ceasefire in their testy relationship by agreeing to some things. She will allow him to be a father to baby Ryder and won’t sic the cops on him.
John comes by to put Ford in the paddywagon too late, as Jess changed her mind.
Blair evades and obfuscates what’s really bothering her (Jack caused Gigi’s death; Todd covered it up) with Tomas, after he presses her to talk to him. Instead, she lays into Tomas for his many unraveling lies.
Tomas and Blair’s heated dispute becomes hot.
Blair gives Todd – and Tea – 10 kinds of hell for not stepping up for Jack.
Shane rips into Clint for surviving while Gigi did not.
Rex stops Shane from leveling Clint, long enough to cheer his son up with news that Clint’s big bucks and power will enable them to fight Todd and Jack, defend Gigi’s honor.
Rex and Shane pack up for Asa’s mansion as their next home and the site of their wake.
Jack reveals cracks in that sociopath armor, appearing sincere about mourning Gigi.
Blair takes up the Gigi/Shane issue honestly with Jack. She says that Jack can’t keep avoiding his role in what happened.
Blair’s words weigh heavily with Jack, who is compelled to make things right.
Weighed by guilt, a penitent Jack takes off in Todd’s vehicle to make amends with and own up to his crime against Rex and Shane.
Todd notices his vehicle has been absconded with, puts two and two together, and stops Jack from spilling his guts to Rex and Shane.
Knowing he has to explain why he and Jack are there, Todd acts like they’re there for Gigi’s wake and says all the right things to a noncommittal Rex and a fuming Shane.
Rex stuns Todd by not hitting him; instead, Rex behaves himself and lets Todd say nice things about Gigi, acting like all’s forgiven and forgotten.
As soon as Todd and Jack are out of earshot—out of there—Rex reassures Shane it was all an act, to eventually blindside Todd later.
Shane and Rex host a wake at Asa’s mansion, as loved ones (David, Viki, Natalie) and enemies (Jessica) show up to grieve and have snacks.
Shane and Rex give Tea and Blair a wide berth at the wake, hating them.
What Rex did (bartering Gigi’s heart for Clint’s money) disturbs Roxy. Not Echo, though. Echo understands.
Rex secretly puts together the nuts and bolts of payback against Todd and Jack by using Blair and Tea, i.e., making sure those two women are torn from them.
Every time Matthew attempts to finger Nate for the head hemorrhage, he’s hit with a seizure. This latest one—as he tries to enunciate the truth to his mom—really hits him badly, to the point where it risks his improvement.
Matthew goes back into a slumber, as Destiny opens up to him that she really is carrying a bundle of his and her joy.
Bo pops his head into Clint’s hospital room, and all Clint can do is wait for the sound of handcuffs. Naw mean.
Clint and Bo confer seriously about Matthew, as Viki peers at them curiously.
Viki comes to the conclusion that Clint’s holding out on her about what really occurred with Eddie Ford.
Viki stresses that Clint not take the fall for Eddie Ford’s murder, even if it’s for a good cause.
Matthew’s current doctor, Ms. Sunshine, advises his parents to send the boy to Philly for better care.
Nora and Bo must do something that is difficult, about their son’s predicament: they will seek secondary recourse in a promising hospital in Philly.
Dani nags Destiny about that pregnancy test.
Dani again pointblank asks Destiny what the deal is with the pregnancy test. But Destiny fronts.
Porno King Rick reminds Deanna of what she must do to win his silence.
Dani loses her cool when she interrupts what seems like a clinch between her boyfriend Nate and interloper Deanna.
Dani and Nate can’t seem to find any common ground, because each is holding out on the other.
Dani and Nate bicker incessantly. Nate doesn’t spill his guts to her about Matthew either.
Nate is quick to make Dani feel bad about not including him in on what really went down with Matthew.
Nate allows himself the luxury of hope under the (mistaken) belief Matthew’s been improving. Au contraire. Here comes Rick with the latest, dampering news.
Rick puts the screws to Nate and Deanna to do that porno, or else, using the latest report on Matthew getting worse.
Dani and Nate kiss and rectify their cold front.
Hope likes Baz better than James. James is all, like, Ouch! That hurts.
James feels really insecure about his standing with Starr now that Baz has Hope in his back pocket. He turns to Deanna to unload his woes.
James whispers to Deanna about how bugged he’s getting with Baz all over Starr.
Aubrey and Cutter quarrel about Tess and Joey.
Aubrey and Rama open up their motel room to Cutter.
Rama pines away for Vimal, the husband she took for granted.
Echo effectively unveils punishment for Dorian and Viki--unsuspecting.
Dorian is met with Viki’s judgmental wrath when arriving to check in on Clint.
Viki raises holy hell with Dorian for what she almost let happen to Clint.
Ionia puts her hands all over David, like they’re an item, long enough for Echo to capture everything on film.
David commits a grievous error by omitting his latest escapade with Ionia, when speaking next with Dorian.
Cue David gaping at himself cavorting with Ionia online.
Dorian and David nitpick at each other because of Ionia’s charges.
Dorian flips the script on David.
Dorian won’t accompany David when he goes to Gigi’s wake, hosted by Rex and Shane.
Dorian receives a strange box, full of questions.
David leans on his friend Viki to lend a hand here, as Echo lurks in the shadows taking it all in.
Dorian greets David back at La Boulaie with a loaded revolver aimed at his person.
Next week: Todd and Tea take their fight to the next, horrific, violent level. Todd puts his hands on her… Tomas forces Todd to make amends to Tea, starting with a genuine apology… Rex shuts Bo out… Echo is within earshot when Rex devises a means of putting Blair and Tea in harm’s way as part of his revenge fantasy. He sounds as if he really means to execute them… Baz asks about a photo of Todd and Starr, when talking with Starr… Someone goes after Jack with a vengeance, blindsiding him with punches… A chat with Dr. Vivian upsets Destiny to distraction… Nora is a dog with a bone about this mystery involving her son and the jerk who punched him… Sam celebrates a birthday in myriad interesting ways, notably one… Where did Sam go at his own birthday party?... Starr worries aloud to her mom Blair about Sam and his imaginary friend… David and Dorian come upon a floater at La Boulaie… David suspects Dorian of offing a WSB-type flatfoot… David insists Viki do what she said she would for him… Rick makes it difficult for Deanna to avoid a terrible situation.

Thanks Chris. Wow. TPTB really are intent on driving viewers off IMO. There's just nothing I want to watch anymore.
