When she finally admitted her mistake a few days later, she did a very Palin-eqsue thing and blamed the “lamestream” media for magnifying her error in anti-Conservative, “double standard” fashion. Way to take responsibility for your own actions, Michele. Definitely presidential material.

Sorry CeCe, fail to make Bachmann look unappealing to those not already hopelessly left wing. (And that's even assuming those quotes are to be accepted in the spinned context they're given. Some of them clearly seem manipulated and/or told from a leftist POV. ) Besides, given the president's penchant for saying stupid things, Bachmann would need to say a lot worse to look dumber than him. (Maybe she can be his escort to the 58th state or help him tear up some more people he doesn't like. )

So yeah, Bachman's still good for those not hopelessly left. It's going to be fun to watch liberals turn her into a conservative idol by going after her. Sarah Palin would be old news by now if it weren't for the media obsession with her. if they give Bachmann half the treatment they gave her, they might just be the ones who end up winning her the White House.
