When you're in a state of turmoil over a loss, how do you usually handle your grief/depression? What tends to be your initial way of reacting to it?

I tend to keep it bottled up inside and pray that eventually the pain will ease up.

when my sister died in jan, first i cried, then I ordered a brand new dream car figuring that life is really short so i might as well be happy and get what i want. It took 3 mos for the car to come in and it was beautiful. Then one month later, my dream car was swept up in a flood! So i went numb, ate a ton of ice cream and hid in my bedroom. :'( Now im miserable as it just happened the other day.

I'm sorry to hear that, wantstolife. Can insurance cover any of it?

I tend to cry and talk to friends, though I guess it depends on the kind of grief. Sometimes I just want to be by myself to grieve and mourn.
