Nope. My horrid drawings at 6 are likely only slightly inferior to my drawings now.

I doodle. I can't draw for shit. One of the things I wish I had a talent for.

Yep, I've always been pretty good at illustrating things. Did excellent in HS art class.
Here is how I decorated a page from my HS Chemistry Workbook.
OK, I was an adolescent male - what would you expect?

Re: Can you draw?
Man, all these questions today are reminding me of everything I suck at! First directions, now drawing! LOL, yeah, I totally suck at drawing. My poor son inherited that lack of talent.

Re: Can you draw?
I'm very good at technical drawing but I don't think that's what Chris was going for. I can sketch ideas.

Re: Can you draw?
I do alright. My mother's the real artist, she actually went to art school in the 70s and still has all of her assignments to show off, and they're fantastic, I do alright for birthday cards and stuff but it's not much to brag about.

Re: Can you draw?
I've since given it up.
This one was down with a fountain pen, then scanned and inked with Photoshopped.
I had a really bad experience with art, and it kind of ruined it for me. I've packed up all my art supplies and don't bother.

Re: Can you draw?
That was good Rob. IDK what bad experience would make you give it up. You really combined free hand drawing with computer finishing. I never got into that.
Here is another of my adolescent ideations.
Sometimes looking back I think of those Neolithic "Venus" statues found in Europe that accented body parts important to the guys carving them. Notice how small the hands, feet and head are and how big the .... Well, you get the picture.

Abstract. I can't draw any live figures, or create my own cartoons....but I can draw others. When I was in elementary school, everybody was in awe over how close my Simpsons imitations were.

My brother was the same way, he was always able to draw amazing stuff, then he took a drafting class in high school and never since. A shame too, he always drew good spaceships, aliens, monsters, etc.

Thank you.
Seems you also like drawing the female form. Far more fun than drawing men, imo.
For me, somebody whom I loved didn't have faith in me. And because I saw him almost as my mentor, it broke my heart. We had a falling out for a short period, and although we've repaired the friendship, that was when I stopped drawing for good.
