| What time will the kids in your area be heading back to school? Any idea yet? I think here they go back the last week in August, which is better than it has been the last few years. I personally don't get people who say kids have too much summer vacation as it is. Our parents were out even longer and they got a LOT more work done back then. Rather I find the problem to be too many vacation days during the rest of the year and too much playtime busywork instead of actual academic education. | |

| City kids probably go back in early September but I think some Burb districts go back in later August. | |

| Here in NJ it is the thursday after labor day, but my neice in Hawaii starts in august. She even had some optional summer classes she took. | |
