Has anyone in your life ever been jealous of you? Not casually envious, but bitterly jealous? If so, who and why?

Casually jealous, but never bitterly jealous.

I don't have anything to be bitterly jealous about. But all the women are jealous cuz I was born with the naturally curly hair, which I always hated but since I got it cut off it's manageable.

Yes. My guy's brother. When we got together, he liked me. Then once it got serious, the brother really got jealous. He even had some doozie of a lie one time. He was supposedly at a truck stop and heard a truck driver telling the clerk that he was so glad to be home to "Redbedroom". My first name is not common at all, so of course the truck driver was talking about me! And it snowballed into a huge fight. So, it was a lot of years of him doing things like that so he could try to get rid of me.

I've had a couple of friends who would make casual, jokey references that indicated they were jealous of something about me; then later the shit would eventually hit the fan. Happened a few times in high school and college.

It was short-lived, but my sister-in-law was bitterly jealous when I got pregnant, because she couldn't bear children. And she behaved like a child. But, gratefully, she realized her behavior and stopped being an ass.

When I was younger I occasionally realized someone who was jealous for whatever reason. Hasn't happened in awhile.
