    The latest film I saw included a trailer of the new to be released (2012) "The Amazing Spider-Man

    This time around Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Can you replace Tobey Maguire? What looks like is missing is "Mary Jane" That's like Batman without Robin. Oh, they did that already

    Well, Andrew Garfield seems an attractive young man to play the role of Spider Man. Cute girl-next-door, Emma Stone is cast in that movie, but not as Mary Jane.

    My understanding is this is more of a remake and not a linear continuation of the first three.
