Benny & Joon

I recently found out about this movie when I was reading up some things on Buster Keaton. I'm guessing that it was not a box office hit upon its release, but that's neither here nor there.




Has anybody here seen this movie? I'm considering it because I love Buster Keaton and though I'm not big on Johnny Depp, it would be interesting to see how he pulls this role as Sam off, and I love Mary Stuart Masterson (to me she is always going to be Idgie from Fried Green Tomatoes!)

I saw it. Aiden Quinn almost upstaged Johnny Depp in it.

I read about Aiden Quinn the other day, didn't he die young, 48 or something?

I've never seen this movie but heard it was good.

All I can think of when I hear about this movie is that GOD AWFUL SONG that came with. Something about 500 miles.

YES UGH I remember that song being everywhere when this movie came out.

I remember the song was mention when VH1 did I Love the 90s but I thought it was done in accompaniment of a Tom Hanks movie.

I got the DVD of Benny & Joon from the library today and you were right Cheaps, that's the song in it, and it IS annoying, but I LOVE it! LOL, especially with the music video in the special features, that just fits it!
