    Would you consider yourself the 'proud'-type? The kind who doesn't easily accept help, assistance, or consolation? If so, are you ever guilty of your pride being foolish?

    Like I said in the other thread about people paying for you, I don't mind people paying my meal every now and then. But I do have a hard time asking for help when I'm in a bind. If there are no other options then, I'll let pride go and ask.

    I am fiercely independent. I will go out of my way to be independent. Like, I don't own a car but try not to impose on others for use of their car. If it is something where my bike or bus service can't handle, like buying my 32-inch flat screen, I asked my daughter and son-in-law to take me to the Brands Mart across the city. I also bot them something while there, making it a family outing and not a charity transport.
