For some reason it doesn't bother me to listen to myself talk on video, but when it's just audio it does.

I guess. I actually think my voice is deeper that it is when I hear myself talk but I guess the audio doesn't lie. I sound like Minnie Mouse.

I cringe when I hear it. I guess I still am not used to sounding like a man, but even then, I think I sound like a creep. I always thought I sounded babyish as a boy though, so I am likely just self-critical.

It used to somewhat weird me out to listen to my voice playback, but I've gotten used to it. Now it doesn't bother me.

i cringe sometimes..
like when i leave a voicemail for someone, i usually play it back before i send it to see if i sound ok. thats prolly weird to other but oh well

Nope, it always sounds terrible...one time I called this guy for work and I don't know what kind of phone system he had but I'm hearing everything I'm saying coming back at me in the receiver, and it was awful, even in my normal voice it comes through like pure New Jersey.

LOL! I have that same problem. People tell I sound like a stone cold New Yorker and I try to tone it down, but it's hard.

I really don't mind it in everyday life, but when it's recorded, God, does it sound awful! It sounds so hollow and just...dumb!
