No. It makes the face look dirty to me. I'd rather look at a trim beard.

White hairs don't make a shadow. 
But, yeah some young men I've been with had the stuble and it looks cute on them. Kinda like the feel of the roughness too.

White men can do it but I don't think black men pull it off as well. Personally I don't like that much shaded in hair on my face.
