Firm or soft? do you own some sort of specialty pillow like a body pillow or one of those japanese ones? Do you prefer feathers/down or something else?

I use a big body pillow folded in half. It is perfect but getting somewhat shoddy, so I need to upgrade.

Mine is just a "regular" pillow, soft, with a firmer pillow under it (for my reflux problem). I like the soft one to mold around my neck (another problem area). And I also use a body pillow at my side to help with my lower back.

So I sleep with 3 pillows.

I usually like Goose down feather pillows (pretty expensive but they are worth it) but now I have tempurpedic pillows (very expensive but worth it) and they are like sleeping on a cloud! I have a body pillow too!

Soft. Hard pillows defeats the purpose.

I prefer firm. Soft is too fluffy for me.

Like Bluesmama I have a firm pillow with a softer pillow on top. I sleep on my side. Then there is the pillow between my knees for my back. I've slept with a pillow between my knees for year even before the back surgery, there in the hospital they even told me to keep a pillow between my knees. The pillow is almost like a body part now.
