    Did anybody else's power go out today?

    Yesterday my mom told me our power would probably go out as a result of the solar flare that occurred 2 days ago. Apparently it takes a couple of days from the time it happens for it to whack out the power and radio waves on Earth. And an hour ago our power went out and stayed out for over half an hour, and I think the whole town was hit with it because the grocery store didn't have power, Wal-Mart didn't, everybody we knew was calling us asking if we had power. Hopefully it's over now because now we can make dinner.

    If I hadn't known about the event I wouldn't have known anything out of the ordinary was happening.
