What are some things that make their way through your mind and leave you going 'hmmm'?


The other day I looked up on Youtube, I Love the 90's: 1995, had a segment for Bravehart and they talk about Mel Gibson has a wife, they kill his wife, and then he does this...and I got to thinking...Mad Max, Lethal Weapon, Bravehart...WHAT is it with Mel Gibson's characters all having their wives killed?

If identical twin brothers have sex with each other, is it incest or masturbation?


(And yes, I know of identical twin gay brothers who do that)

I thought about a post like this the other night....I think about the game of telephone many of us play as kids in a group....

One simple statement about an adult is what it is but can snowball into something so different...

My brother and I were the only kids who permanently stayed in this neighborhood so there were never enough of us around to play games like that. I've never gotten the point exactly, was it that you intentionally changed part of the message as you went along or was it just everybody heard what they heard and it naturally got mixed up?

The catch is once it hits enough ears, it gets drastically changed usually.

Like, if I said, "Super likes skimpy swim suits...." the end result would be something like, "Super is like a slutty suit..."

That is actually an exaggeration, but really, adults do play telephone and it is pretty funny when things get totally blown out of porportion. Especially with adults in the mix.

This has been a loooong week, including me talking to the fine folks at the IRS due to a fine game of telephone about my liability at a local moto track. I always knew it would happen and Tuesday it did.

"I" before "E" except after "C". That's weird.

The word monosyllable, isn't.

What would Jesus say to all the idiot TV preachers? Would he tell organized religion to get behind me satan?

If identical twin brothers, paired up with identical twin sisters, and each couple had a child, how closely would those children resemble each other--would they be almost identical, too?

If you didn't specify "each month" and said "I get paid bimonthly" it could mean you get paid every two months.

It is a totally ambiguous word without other clarification in context.
