Total dirty scam....

A lady I went to church group with in high school requested on FB donated baby/toddler items because her step-daughter wanted to donate to the local Children's Hospital. Apparently she got quite a bit...so much she was able to make bundles of it to place for sale on Craig's List.

So in the devil's playground (Facebook) she was called out! My nosey/catty self has loved reading the explosion of comments this week. She has finally admitted their heating bill was unbearable and she needed a way out.

So, kudos for finally admitting the truth...but what a dirty scam.

Anymore I find it hard to believe when anybody online says they need something for this, for that, etc., just like the scam of send thousands of dollars to your online spouse in Africa or whatever the hell that one was a few years back.

But FB does lend the request to some authenticity. She was asking locals.

I have several friends with yahoo and gmail emails who have "sent" me requests to get them out of a jam overseas. That shit is easy to read as fake.

This scam was not like that, but a dirty scam nonetheless.

I don't think I would believe her haeting bill excuse either.

Good point. Ironically, I just thought of that this morning. One of my guy's workers were here and we were talking about the weather and how our heating bills were not that bad this year due to the mild winter. Then I thought, "Wow, what if Tina was actually lying about the heat bill too?"
