Too late for me to be a simpleton - IDK how far removed I am from genius.
But I have often envied ppl who were so benighted that they did not have any of the plagueing mysteries with which I struggle to comprehend. Still I am sure they have their own level of mental conflict so it is a wash - only the smarter you are perhaps the more you can appreciate any clues gleaned from your mental efforts.
