    To anyone who has a half sibling, do you simply call them your sister or brother, or do you refer to them as "my half sister" or "my half brother?"

    Since I never met em, I say half sister and half brother.

    I have a half sister. I guess I'm interchangeable with it. Sometimes she's my sister, and other times (when I'm aware of detail) she's my half sister.

    I have a "half" brother I will never get to meet but I have & will always consider him to be my brother.

    I have a half sister but I always refer to her as my sister. I have half brothers and sometimes I call them my half brothers....but most of the time, they're just my brothers. Doesn't affect me much one way or the other.
