I put an MP3 disc in of the classics and do any chores I need to do around the house.

Only if it's some big excursion....like yard work. If it's something like washing dishes or vacuuming, then nah....ain't that deep.

Usually I turn on the stereo (cds) loud, and most of the time I pick high-energy stuff. I listen to a LOT of zydeco when doing housework.
Once in awhile, though, I will simply want the sounds of silence. A "mood thing".
