    When buying online at a site that uses them I try to find promo codes for either % off or free shipping.

    IDK - my whole lifestyle is pretty frugal. I will ride my bike 10 miles downtown rather than take the bus (but that saves me $4 and I make the same time or better).

    I guess the one thing would be I've gone out of my way to get something I know was a bit cheaper than where I was.

    Nothing to lump. I use my soap bar until it gets thin enuf to cut me before throwing it out. Sometimes it disappears on its last shower.

    When I was a kid, I remember my grandmother had this little metal basket on a handle, where she would put little pieces of soap to swish around in the water for washing dishes. This may have been before detergents, when Washing Soda was used to make the soap more foamy for laundry.
