Uncasting spoiler

Rumor has it Daphne Duplaix (Rachel) has been let go. In the meantime, she moments ago tweeted that she was "off to Hollywood."

If this is true, then it really stinks. Of the four Rachel's, I liked her the best. She was easily the best recast the character ever saw. Too bad she was wasted in a failed pairing with Greg and was used to prop his family, and Schuyler.

Such a shame. She's really a good actress too and they totally wasted her. In the meantime, we still have Ford, right? :rme:

I'm not surprised. Something is very wrong when 30-something Rachel does little more than being a BFF to a 20-something Schuyler, and offering cutesy advice to him on how to further woo Gigi is a recipe a dead end. She did nothing but sit on the sidelines and prop others: Nora, Matthew, Tea, Schuyler, the Evans. Sucks big balls too because DD had the potential to be every bit as good as Rachel was Ellen Bethea was.

And how is Rachel gone but Greg is still there?
